Tuomo Tammenpää is a designer, artist and entrepreneur with a background in media arts and visual communication. Over 20 years of physical interaction projects has brought him to the world of open hardware and Do-It-With-Others -practices. Tuomo is currently focusing all his energy and networks to build an independent cultural venue called KUBU in Kemiönsaari, Finnish South-West Archipelago.

Tuomo is joining with his colleagues Juergen Neumann and Julian Priest on Godzilla to imagine their maritime project ohanda.one, which is a speculative design project about future sea travel and communal life on sea. Few days on board will provide an appropriate environment for dreaming big at sea.
“Born besides the Baltic Sea, lived all my life near it, boated, dreamed and fished on and of it. While being very fond of hiking the forests of Finland, still had always this strange attraction for the sea horizon, which for me, has always been the Baltic Sea. Stormy and calm, equally comforting and exciting at the same time.”
